Lionel Messi and the Argentina national football team are ready to visit Kerala, India in October 2025. Messi is coming to India 14 years after he first played in Kolkata in 2011. This will be Messi’s second visit to India having previously played a FIFA World Cup qualifying round match against Venezuela in Kolkata in September 2011. Kerala Sports Minister V. Abdurahman had earlier announced Argentina will come to play two friendly matches in Kochi, Kerala.
HSBC, now the official partner of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), has confirmed about this match.
