Mbappe will become a legend at Real Madrid like Ronaldo – Ancelotti

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes Kylian Mbappe has the great potential to become a Real Madrid legend at the club, like Portughese Super Star Cristiano Ronaldo. The French forward, who joined Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, has already equalled Ronaldo’s 33 goals in his debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“I want Mbappe to be able to achieve what Ronaldo achieved at Real Madrid – I think he can do it,” he said. “That means he will be a legend at Real Madrid, like Cristiano Ronaldo.” Ancelotti said
Ronaldo left Real Madrid as Madrid’s all-time top scorer with 450 goals.

At the same time, Kylian Mbappé said this: “Me and Cristiano Ronaldo speak frequently. He gives me a lot of advice”.

“I’m very happy to equal his goals in the first season, we know what he represents for all of us… but the really important thing is to WIN trophies with Real Madrid”.

Kylian Mbappé has now scored 33 goals, as many as Cristiano Ronaldo in his debut season at Real Madrid. Mbappe needs just 5 more goals to beat the record of 37 set by Ivan Zamorano.
